Wellness Center Staff

Meet the Wellness Center Staff

Dr. Phillip Johnson, MD, MPH, Medical Director

Dr. Johnson started his career in Alaska, where he did everything from home visits to delivering babies. He and his family moved to Indiana in 2020 to be closer to family.

He feels so incredibly grateful to be practicing in a wellness center with so many amazing team members, where the focus is truly on improving health.  It brings him great satisfaction to help patients make necessary changes to get off of medications. Dr. Johnson believes that health is about freedom. The freedom to have the physical, mental and emotional health to do what you love to do.

Despite, or maybe because of his 3 board certifications - in Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine - he believes a good dietician usually makes more difference than any other role in healthcare.

Outside medicine, his passions are his family, hiking, camping, fossil hunting, rock hounding, gardening, photography, and he dreams of woodworking.
